Emmy award winning writer Tom Gammill (Seinfeld, The Simpsons) will discuss his almost 40 year career in television as one half of the writing team “Tom Gammill & Max Pross”. Tom & Max got their start as apprentice writers on “Saturday Night Live” in 1979. From there they went on to be part of the original writing staff at “Late Night with David Letterman” on NBC. For the last twenty years they have been writer/producers on “The Simpsons”, and before that, writer/producers on “Seinfeld”. In addition, Tom & Max have worked on many, many flop shows, including a pilot they created starring a marionette. Tom will talk about the ups and downs in their career and show how, when bad things happened to him, they could be turned into classic episodes of “Seinfeld”.
